The Bank of America Charitable Foundation has issued Take Note its first corporate grant award to the tune of $50,000 in support of music-making for Colorado students. The gift places the bank into the inaugural membership of Take Note’s Music Producers Circle, a philanthropic group of companies and individuals that will help Take Note raise funds to address gaps in music education across the state.

“Supporting access to the arts, particularly for youth, makes Colorado a more vibrant place where people want to live and do business,” said Jodi Rolland, Colorado State and Denver Market President for Bank of America. “Take Note Colorado’s innovative work dovetails with Bank of America’s mission to support responsible growth and is an example of our commitment to improve the financial lives of individuals and families in Colorado, while helping to build a robust arts economy.”

“The impact of grant funding and volunteer support from Bank of America employees will allow us to increase our outreach to communities in need of instruments and instruction,” says Karen Radman, Executive Director of Take Note Colorado. “We’re truly grateful for this corporate partnership that sets a shining example of the private sector investing in their own communities.”
